Proverbs 31:30

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Autumn Godknecht
Dear Friends and Family,
Most of you know that Autumn lives with epilepsy. Each day Autumn takes numerous medications to help keep the seizures under control. And, in June of 2010 she underwent brain surgery to help reduce the seizures. She is our brave warrior princess and she has the battle scar to prove it. But, her fight with epilepsy is not over, seizures and medication are still a huge part of her daily life! And, because Autumn's fight continues...so does ours.
This is a link to a video of Autumn's journey. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=KqggDX56klQ

It is almost time for the 2012 Dallas Stroll for Epilepsy at the Dallas Zoo! It is the morning of Saturday March 31st. This will be our 4th year to participate.
It is such a fun event that the whole family can participate in. Join our team today and help us raise even more money to support the Epilepsy Foundation Texas. Every donation no matter the size makes a BIG difference. Funds raised will help...

- send kids to camp
- provide clinics for people with no insurance
- educate people about epilepsy and seizure disorders
- destroy the stigma and negative images in society
- a person with epilepsy learn job skills to become employed

Our team is called Autumn's Puppy Walkers! If you want to join our team, you can join and manage your own account or tell me and I will register you. Our team goal is $1500.00. The Epilepsy Foundation is asking for all participants to raise or donate at least $25 to cover the cost of admission to the zoo and to receive an event t-shirt!

There are 2 ways to help:

1. Walk. To join our team go to:

The Dallas Zoo is a great setting to celebrate contributing to a worthy cause. Sign-upon-line to participate in the stroll, help collectdonations, and show up at the Dallas Zoo for about a mile long walk past the animals. Fewer things are more fulfilling than
standing among hundreds of people all joined together for a common cause. Please call or email me if you would like any additional details. This year we have team shirts available for $10. If you would like to walk with us, I will email specific details about time and parking later.

2. Donate. The process is very simple. You can contribute to the general fund, our team - Autumn's Puppy Walkers, or to any individual on our team. The simplest way is to use a credit card on-line. Go to

http://eftx.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&eventID=532&teamID=5589

They will send you a letter for tax purposes.

Be sure to check if your employer contributes any matching funds!

We know that you have many charities asking for your support and we appreciate you considering the Epilepsy Foundation!
In Gratitude,
Amy Godknecht
