Wow, the last few weeks have been a blur. First of all, Autumn had a checkup with her epilepsy doctor. He wants us to do a new PET scan, MRI and 2 day video EEG. That was not what I wanted to hear, but I knew it was coming. It has been 2 years since all of that has been done. She will have to miss a little bit of school. I think we are trying to schedule it for the end of September. Please be praying that everything will run smoothly and all of the tests will come back normal. Also, please pray that Autumn will handle the EEG monitoring well. It was very traumatic the last time we did it. She is 2 years older, but she does remember the loud thing that they used to adhere the monitors.
Okay, now onto the first day of school. She did great, I was a nervous wreck. I took pictures, but they will not be posted until this weekend. (I'll explain why later.) She told me little bits about her day. But, after answering a bazillion questions from me, she said Mom, I don't want to talk about it anymore. It just felt weird dropping her off for someone else to take care of. I felt like it was wrong somehow. The last five years have been me and her and I was sad to drop off my little buddy. Anyway, she did great and was ready to do it again today. I'm so proud of her. Well, one day down about a bazillion to go!
