Swimming Lessons

Autumn just started swimming lessons this week. She is taking them at the YMCA. Mike did not want me to teach Autumn how to swim because he said what I do is not swimming. I on the other hand, feel that if you don't drown, your swimming. Anyway, the first day was pure torture for me. Autumn was terrified. She has been swimming before, but something about this time was different. She screamed bloody murder the whole time. She just wanted me to hold her. So last night I had Mike take her to open swim. I thought that maybe if he took her she would understand that it is okay. It worked! Today she participated the whole time (except for a few hugs & kisses breaks.) I am so proud of her. Watch out Summer Olympics!
